December 17, 2024 — Anker Innovations Ltd. has recalled 69,000 Soundcore and PowerConf Bluetooth Speakers due to a fire hazard.
The recall includes Anker Soundcore (A3102) and PowerConf Bluetooth (A3302) Speakers that were sold on Amazon.com in 2023.
Anker said the lithium-ion battery in the speakers can overheat, which poses a fire hazard.
Anker said there were 33 reports of the battery overheating, including some reports of smoking and small fires, and one minor burn injury.
The recall involves the lithium-ion battery packs in Anker Soundcore Bluetooth Speakers that were sold exclusively on Amazon.com in 2023, including models A3102016, A3302011 and A3302031.
