Cymbalta (duloxetine) is an antidepressant medication manufactured by Eli Lilly & Co. that is also used to treat fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, it has been linked to severe withdrawal symptoms (“brain zaps”), suicidal behavior in teenagers, and other side effects.
Cymbalta Class Action Lawsuit Information
In January 2013, Law360 reported that the drug-maker asked a federal judge in California to toss a proposed class action for consumers who allege that Eli Lilly failed to warn about the risk of “brain zaps” and other withdrawal symptoms from Cymbalta. However, the class action was not seeking financial compensation on behalf of individuals who were seriously injured by Cymbalta.
