Lyft $1 Million Insurance Policy

The victim, Shane Holland, 24, was one of two passengers in the Lyft. His driver swerved to avoid a stalled Kia in the middle of Interstate-80, lost control, and hit two trees. Holland died at the scene of the crash.

In July 2015, Holland’s mother and injured boyfriend filed separate Lyft car accident lawsuits for wrongful death and personal injury. After an 18-month settlement delay, they accused Lyft of “dragging its heels.”
