In March 2025, the Louisiana based company Luv n’ Care recalled about 33,600 Nuby Stroller Fans after reports of children who were cut by the fan blades.
What Happened?
There were 7 reports of children who were able to squeeze their fingers inside the fan’s housing and touch the fan blades, including 6 children who suffered finger laceration injuries (cuts) on the blades.
What is the Problem?
Nuby Stroller Fans were recalled because the housing has has gaps that are large enough to allow a small child to get their fingers inside and touch the fan blades. This can result in lacerations (cuts).
Where Were They Sold?
Nuby Stroller Fans cost about $15 and they were sold from May 2024 through June 2024 at Baby Express, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, and Unique Photo stores, Amazon.com and us.nuby.com.
How To Identify Recalled Stroller Fans
The recalled stroller fans have the name “Nuby” printed on the front in the center of the fan. They are black, with three flexible tripod legs that wrap around the stroller bar. They have three speeds.
The lot number N8K10X and model number 25138 are printed on a white label on the back center of the fan.
